Low numbers like 1% would be harder to catch, but if they shoot for the moon, it’s easier to get caught and summarily executed. The bean counters might not notice a few coins (or energy) missing, and per the operation, the player can set what percentage they want the operative to shoot for. Wouldn’t it make more sense for an operative to siphon a small percentage every turn and giving it to his empire? That would make more sense operationally speaking. This isn’t an Energy Siphon…it’s a Mass Robbery on an incomprehensible level, which now that I say it, could be an operation unto itself. It doesn’t even make sense on a functional level. Which leads me to 2: why does energy drain take everything I have? How does that make sense? How is an operative in your network supposed to make it out the door with EVERYTHING in your bank and not be discovered? More importantly, how can any one operative, or even a network, have access to all the energy? This reads like America keeping every ounce of currency in one, easy-to-rob location. It’s infuriating to see my entire supply drained by an unmet faction. This is obviously a glitch, and I was hoping it would’ve been fixed by now, but whatever. Not the operation in concept, but it seems to be functionally broken.ġ: why can factions I’ve never met siphon energy from me? I can’t hit them, because, duh, I haven’t met them yet, and this happens in EVERY scenario I play (hard and very hard difficulty).
